Good News – God so loved the world

Today we celebrate the start of the Allesley Festival which will see a series of community activities and events taking part till Sunday 14 July 2019.
Carol Knee, Chairperson of the Allesley Festival Committee, came and received our heartfelt thanks for all the hard work she, the Committee and team undertake.
It was also a celebratory service for the coronation of the Prince and Princesses of the Festival who will take part in the grand procession through the village, this will take part on Saturday 13 July 2019.

All Saints’ Church will be taking part in the procession. The theme this year is “As seen on TV”, and our message will be The Good News; John 3:16:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This is the Good News!
No matter what you look like God loves you.
No matter what you have done in the past God loves you.

That Jesus came into the world is a fact.
It is real and true.

We are invested in this Good News because we are part of it.
This Good News is for everyone in Allesley, for everyone in the world.
It’s a new eternity, a new way of life.
This message is so important that we must live it, declare it and share it.
