Big Prayer Meeting

A Big Prayer Meeting was held last Wednesday for the congregation of All Saints to pray about the future and God’s plan for us with a new Rector. The diocesan acclamation was seen as God speaking to us to be open and willing. This is true for life in general. Things happen both good and bad, but what counts is our reaction to these episodes in life. Do we become egocentric, afraid and selfish? Or do we become open, enlightened, compassionate and forward moving? It’s these life choices which shape all of us. God is waiting for us to fulfil our part so that we accept what has happened in the past “Thanks”, but together look towards the future and in anticipation say “Yes”.
