Reading 21:1-19

1. In verse 15: Do you love me more than these?
More than these fish, more than status, material wealth?
Do  you love Jesus first?

2. Jesus asks three times , do you love me?
Love for Jesus is steadfast, constant, ever lasting.
Imagine Jesus in front of you now, and he asks you  three times – Do you love me (name)?
Jesus invites us into a personal relationship with him, one of divine love.

3. If you love me feed my sheep.
Love is expressed in action.
God calls us to respond to his love, not keep it to ourselves.
You express and show this love through action (not by words).

Therefore:
We are called to love Jesus before anyone or anything else.
Jesus’ love is constant.
Love of Jesus calls us to act.
