Use Your Talents

Reading Matthew 25:14-30

Listen to the Sermon:

Summary
Jesus gives us all we require. We can pray directly to God.The Spirit of God lives directly in us; He is a gift from God.

God invests in us all and in his church, but he expects a return.

In the passage a ” talent” was a bag of gold worth 20 years wages! But it could also mean our skills, money, time and resources.
If we hide our talents the Kingdom of God does not grow. Don’t hide your talents, share them, bless the community.

If as a church we take God’s huge investment we will see personal growth and growth as a church. If you want to be twice the person you are today then invest it in God’s Kingdom. The happiest people are those who are using their talent to further God’s Kingdom.

Here’s the challenge:
Do you want to be a good and faithful servant (verse 23) or a wicked and lazy servant (verse 26)?
To be the former, you must use your talents!
