Allesley Festival July 2023 – The Best of British: The Great British Seaside

What a wonderful 2023 Allesley Festival!
The theme this year was The Best of British: The Great British Seaside. All Saints’ entered a float for the Allesley Procession with people of all ages riding on the float or walking alongside. Beachwear was worn from the 2020s, the recent past or a long time past with people carrying buckets and spades, rubber rings (brollies) or a fake ice-cream.
Volunteers were at the Jaguar Social Club to do last minute decorations and for the judging.
All Saints’ float came 1st for the Community Awards.
Deckchairs, seagulls, fake fish and chips, candy floss and vinyl waves adorned the float.

Thank you to everyone who helped. It was great to see All Saints’ Church taking part and supporting the community.
