Skittles Rainbow Prayer

You will need some:
Skittles
Saucer
Water

Be in groups of 6/7
Put skittles in saucer and add the water.
Watch the colours run slowly into a rainbow.

As you watch the colours run into a rainbow, let us Pray:

  1. Heavenly Father we see RED as the colour which represents redemption and wisdom. We pray for our leaders and politicians that they may have wisdom to do what is right for the good of all. We pray for countries in the world that suffer from war, disease and poverty. We pray that all men, women, and children around the world will come to the saving knowledge of your on Jesus Christ.

  2. Dear Lord we see ORANGE as the colour of friendship. We pray for our friends and family. We pray for those who are alone, depressed, isolated or excluded. We pray that all men, women, and children around the world will know the deep desire God has for relationship with EVERY one.

  3. Lord, the Almighty we see YELLOW as the colour of glory. We pray that your Holy Spirit will show us the beauty in everyday things, to see that we are blessed, and the desire to bless others. We pray that all men, women, and children around the world will experience your glory and that your glory will be revealed around us and through us.

  4. Dear creator we see GREEN as the colour of life. We pray that we will take care of the earth, use it resources wisely, and remember that life always finds a way. We pray that all men, women, and children around the world will realise that Jesus is life.

  5. Loving Holy One, we see PURPLE. We see this colour as the colour of royalty. We pray for those who lack self -esteem, who see themselves as worthless, and those who are downtrodden. We pray that all men, women, and children around the world will come into the truth of their God-given identity; that we are ALL created in His image, chosen as royal sons and daughters.

Dear Lord thank you for your patience, your mercy, your love, and your faithfulness.
The rainbow encircles your throne; it is your eternal symbol, a promise to your people. The rainbow is a call to prayer, to worship. Thank you God that you hear our prayers.
