Welcome...

Robin and Ru TrewHello, I'm Robin Trew, the Rector of Allesley. I'd like to welcome you to the All Saints Allesley Web Site.

I've been here since 2002 and I can safely say that you meet all sorts of people at All Saints! We're a church with a real sense of community and an awareness of being part of our local community. We have a growing sense too, of being part of the community of Christ's people throughout the world and of our responsibility to share the good things that God is giving us.

Of course, the most important thing that He has given us is our faith in Jesus. In all the activities and opportunities that we have, that's the thing we value most. In fact we value it so much that we'd like to give it away!

Raise The Roof Appeal
LogoAll Saints Church is one of the few Grade 1 Listed buildings in Allesley Village. The roof, which dates back to Victorian times, has suffered in recent years through a number of violent storms and two recent burglaries when lead was stripped from the valleys etc.

Whilst the roof has been made watertight and new security measures implemented, the roof tiles need to be lifted, new battens and felting needs to be fitted and the existing Victorian tiles replaced.

The total cost is expected to be around £60,000 of which the church has already raised £25,000.

Can you help?

Allesley Bells

Bells have hung in the All Saints Tower for over 530 years and have been regularly rung  for Sunday services and weddings by a dedicated and expert band of ringers over many years. Essential maintenance needs to be done and we believe now is the right time to plan and secure the future of the Allesley Bells.

The Bell restoration falls into four phases , including re -hanging the old listed bell, casting a new fourth bell, refurbishing, clappers, bearings etc and re casting the sixth.

The total cost of the project is £50,000. We have already received generous donations but we are appealing for funding to complete the restoration. If you are interested in learning more about our historic bells or would like to donate, please contact Ian Thompson, 024 76411522, Neill Howes 02476469045 or Lesley Grove 02476402067
